It’s so easy to wrap yourself up in mom guilt for every little thing. However, when my boys snuggle up with a book on their own I feel like I’ve done something right! Our latest love is from my friend @jakethegrowlingdog □ Jake Goes to Doggie Daycare □ I put it in my Amazon Store for anyone prepping a kid for daycare or school. These books are the best social learning stories! Bonus points because we’re doggie obsessed here. You can also follow them for Jake’s real life adventures. □□

Friends, I love Jake the Growling Dog books by Samantha Shannon. They are great examples of social emotional learning and help children gain understanding of complex situations through the eyes of the cutest dog ever!   You can even follow Jake's everyday adventures on Instagram. 

I highly recommend this book for any parent prepping a young kid for daycare or school!  Jake feels a little nervous about the first day of school and meeting new friends.

It has been a favorite in our household for my 4 year old starting PreK in the fall!
